The aims of the MR Workshop are to inform stakeholders and interested parties about the implementation of the MR scheme and the respective certification process.
We will explain the underlying class principles as well as the safety concept / risk assessment methodology for the MR scheme.
Further, we are interested in gathering information on the experience of the manufacturing and the wider industry using the MR scheme and to discuss any open questions.
The event will provide an opportunity for exchange on the MR scheme and to discuss some of the issues relating to the application of mutual recognition in the context of ship classification.
